At Wray Common Nursing and Residential Care Home in Surrey we have a highly qualified Matron Manager, who is a Registered Nurse with many years experience, leading a dedicated team of Qualified Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, each of whom has been selected for their warmth of personality as well as their skills and experience.
Before moving into Wray Common Nursing & Residential Home, every resident will be assessed by a Registered Nurse to enable us to devise their individualised care plan. We believe in a person-centred approach to care and value the importance of getting to know the person and their families and friends before they move in. The assessment is the beginning of that relationship.
Our trained and dedicated team are on hand at all times to help and care for you. Wray Common Nursing & Residential Home nurses are experienced in caring for people with complex health needs including all aspects of rehabilitation, medicine administration, health monitoring, vein puncture, enteral feeding, wound management, urology and the management of long-term conditions including stroke, heart disease, cancer, Parkinson’s disease and dementia. We are experienced in anticipating changing health needs and unpredictable conditions.
We work closely with our local GP surgeries and other specialist healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of medical care and attention for our residents. We will discuss yours and your family’s wishes at every stage to ensure that you can be kept comfortable. We also assist with emotional support and practical guidance for families and friends throughout end of life care.
