Can I choose my room ?
We aim to provide the type of room that suits the wishes and needs of the resident. All of our rooms are single rooms, and the majority have en-suite facilities. All rooms have televisions and are decorated and furnished to the same high standards.

 

Can I keep my own doctor ?
If you are registered with one of the four GP practices serving the local area then yes, you will be able to stay registered with that practice. Our nurses will contact the doctor to request a Home visit when the need arises. If you are registered with a GP from another area we will register you with one of the practices covering this area.

 

Can I bring personal belongings with me?
Residents are welcome to bring small items of furniture and personal items such as pictures and ornaments from home to furnish their room with. We will help to set you up with whatever you need to make your room feel like home.

 

What time do residents go to bed ?
We don’t have set bedtimes as residents are encouraged to exercise personal choice.

 

Is there wi-fi accessible ?
Yes we have wi-fi to all residents’ rooms.

 

Is there a hairdresser at Wray Common ?
Yes we have got a very friendly visiting hairdresser who is with us twice a week

 

Can I still get my daily newspaper ?
Yes we have daily deliveries of all newspapers and magazines.

 

Can we have visit to have lunch with our relative?
Yes we can arrange for you to have lunch together.
